Chase Smithburg

Chase Smithburg joined the programs team at QFI in 2024. Prior to QFI, Chase led Arabic language programs for American students in the overseas context. He spent over six years engaged with this work in Morocco, in addition to living nearly three years in Alexandria, Egypt as both a student and teacher. While working for American Councils for International Education, his experience included work on language assessment and programming from the National Security Education Program and the Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Chase received his MA in Arab Studies from the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He completed his undergraduate studies in Arabic and Political Science at the University of Oklahoma.
