Tahreem Akhtar

Tahreem Akhtar oversees the Arabic Honor Society and manages the school grant programs that support the establishment and expansion of K-12 Arabic programs at state funded schools in the US and UK. Before joining QFI in 2018, Tahreem worked as an intern at Near East Foundation in Amman, Jordan, where she also completed Arabic coursework while studying at the University of Jordan. Tahreem holds a BA in Arabic language and International Relations from American University, graduating with a focus on Conflict Resolution and Foreign Policy. Tahreem has earned a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. She is also fluent in Punjabi and Urdu.
