A Guide to Researching Arabic in Schools

Anna-Maria Ramezanzadeh & Robert Woore from the University of Oxford Department of Education will be providing an overview on the field of research in Arabic language education.

Attendees will gain an understanding of:

• the current landscape of research in Arabic as an Additional Language, including gaps in the literature;
• priority areas for research as identified by stakeholders in the field;
• what makes high quality empirical studies (with a focus on experimental designs);
• key considerations for researching Arabic in particular.

This event will be held 4-6pm UK time.
